A beautifully crafted collection for rehabilitation

Vigour, design by  Pauline Van Dongen, is a Product Service System that enables geriatric patients, physiotherapists and family to gain more insight in the exercises and progress of a rehabilitation process. A knitted cardigan with integrated stretch sensors monitors the movements of the upper body, and communicates this data to the service provider.

The project is a great example of blending technology with artisanship in a beautifully executed lifestyle good aimed at improving people's lives.

Vigour is a Product Service System that enables geriatric patients, physiotherapists and family to gain more insight in the exercises and progress of a rehabilitation process. The garment can be worn all day and thereby gather data, and can be worn when executing rehabilitation exercises.
